We believe in:
- The unity of God in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- The sovereignty of God in creation, providence and redemption.
- The full deity and full humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, his virgin birth, his sinless life, his work of atonement for sinners by suffering and dying in our place, his bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven, and his complete authority as the Son of God.
- The indwelling of all Christian believers by the Holy Spirit, transforming them, making them holy, gifting and empowering them spiritually for a life of worship and witness.
- The full inspiration of the Holy Scriptures, their authority as God’s word in their entirety, and the need of the Holy Spirit for a true understanding of Scripture.
- The sinfulness of human nature and the need for individual repentance and new birth by the Holy Spirit.
- The forgiveness of the sinner solely by the grace of God, through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and his work of salvation.
- The priesthood of all true believers, who form the Church, the body of Christ, of which he is the Head.
- The ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s supper as being instituted by Jesus Christ.
- The return of Christ in glory; the resurrection of all people; the final judgment; eternal life for all whose faith is in Christ; and God’s mercy supreme over all.
