Regular Meetings

We hold a number of regular meetings and we'd love you to join us. Please contact us if you would like more details on any of these meetings.

Sunday morning Worship

Services begin at 10.30 and usually finish by 11.45.

Most people stay afterwards for a time of informal fellowship over a warm drink.

Sunday Evening Communion

Communion is celebrated on the third evening of every month.

The service begins at 6.30pm and lasts one hour.

Conversational Bible Study

This group meets each fortnight on the alternate weeks to the Home Groups so that people may attend both if they wish. The groups are led by one of our members who is a retired Baptist Minister and usually follow a book of the Bible for several weeks.

Ferring Womens Breakfast

This is held at Ferring Baptist Church four times a year. There are usually around sixty women present, as it is open to all the women of the village to meet and share fellowship together. An inspirational speaker is invited to speak at each event.

Dabblers

Every fortnight a group called "Dabblers" meets from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on a Thursday to which people bring their favourite hobbies and crafts and do them together. This is a relaxed occasion to which neighbours and friends can easily be invited.

If you don’t have a hobby or craft to do, come along anyway for a chat and a drink.

Ferring Mens Breakfast

Around fifteen to twenty men from our church and St. Andrews meet once a month on the third Saturday of the month at the Henty Arms for a Full English Breakfast and a time of fellowship.

We meet between 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. - it would be great if you could join us but ideally give us notice so we can provide the Henty with numbers.

Home Groups

These meet on a fortnightly basis to provide fellowship and Bible study and are open to all.

Currently there are two groups (with a third being planned), which meet on a Tuesday afternoon and evening respectively. Home groups provide a safe place to share and grow in our Christian faith.

Prayer Times

Prayer is at the heart of everything we do. We meet each Wednesday at 2pm to pray for our world, our local community, the work of our church and for those of our congregation who have particular needs.

These times are vital to the life of the whole fellowship and a great encouragement to those who take part.
