Meet Our Team

The church leadership comprises our pastors, church officers and deacons. Here is a little about some of the people who serve at Ferring.

Revd Robin Brenchley - Minister

Revd Robin Brenchley

I came to Ferring from Sittingbourne in Kent where I had spent 20 years as a deacon and latterly as a pastor whilst serving as a Police Officer.

In 2016 I retired from the police and trained at Spurgeon’s College to become a Baptist Minister. My background has given me a wide experience of dealing with people’s problems and I am rarely shocked!

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking, cinema and spending time with my family.

I came to Ferring with Robin in 2019. Previously I had set up and run the church office in Sittingbourne, providing a first point of ministry contact for those in need, as well as serving as Secretary for the local branch of Churches Together.

I have now successfully completed my training to become a nationally recognised Baptist Pastor.

I have had a varied church background and had been been worshipping at Ferring for several years before feeling God called me to stand as our Church Secretary. In this role, I am responsible for communication with the Baptist Union and local Baptist Association as well as the wider church family. In my spare time I enjoy artwork and music.

I relocated to Ferring in 2010, transferring my membership from West Worthing Baptist Church in 2012, and have been our treasurer for 8 years. I have responsibility for all the church finances. In my spare time, I enjoy walking the dog, playing golf, and singing in the local village choir.
